DAV Public School (CDA) won the B C Parida Memorial Inter-School Cricket Tournament, beating Pyari Mohan Academy by 44 runs in the final at Sunshine ground here today. Subasish Behera starred in the victory, hitting a 50-ball 59 with the help of eight boundaries.
Host Cuttack District Athletic Association (CDAA) and Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) secretary Asirbad Behera, OCA joint-secretary Sanjib Dutta and treasurer Satya Mohanty handed over the trophy and prizes at the closing function. According to Mr Behera, players performing well will be called for Cuttack district under-16 trials soon.
